Community Indicators: Impact Summit 2015

The 2015 Impact Summit is the premier gathering for those involved in the field of community measurement.

We invite community-based practitioners, academic experts, engaged community residents, public officials, students, civic leaders, planners, media professionals and other stakeholders to learn from one another and participate in this active global learning experience.

The Summit will highlight successes, tools and impact on how to use data to build equitable communities, with a variety of presentations and workshops ranging from  basic tools and start-up practices in the indicators trade to advanced and leading-edge practices and processes and responses to challenging questions cross-cutting the field as a whole. Presentations are grouped to highlight specific subjects, such as Community Development and Housing, Education, Health, Sustainability, as well as the more general Cross-cutting category.  http://www.communityindicators.net/Conference

Tracks Measure:  Tools, practices, and technologies to collect meaningful data Connect:  Weaving stories out of data: how to successfully engage the public and decision-makers, using tools such as storytelling, data visualization, social media, mapping, etc. Impact: Practices and case studies that have led to demonstrable improvements in community conditions Reflect:  Building internal organizational resilience and financial sustainability to be externally impactful
