SPECIAL REVIEW: The ISQOLS Certification Program

"Certification in QOL Research: related to community indicators projects"

Quick facts:

• For QOL researchers specializing in community indicators projects to obtain additional training and to become officially certified in the field

• Focuses on the process of planning, developing, and implementing community QOL indicators in the context of a town, county, city, rural area, or a metropolitan region.

• The course is facilitated via web-conferencing. It involves five chapters (modules) that are broken down into learning objectives, core concepts, summary, progress check, and answers to progress check.

• Admission requirements: a bachelor's degree in a field related to QOL.

ISQOLS members pay a discounted rate of $600 USD for the certification program (non-members pay $700 USD). This includes a PDF version of the course manual and, on successful completion of the certification exam, a course certificate.

Papers submitted to QIIC_9CFP_2016 should be original work and substantively different from papers that have been previously published or are under review in a journal or another peer-reviewed conference. We invite submission of papers describing innovative research on all aspects of quality and related areas. Submitted papers will be assessed based on their novelty, technical quality, potential impact, and clarity of writing.
