Call for Papers on Happiness and Consumption

There is a lot of research on income and happiness, but surprisingly little data on the effects of on happiness of how that money is spent.  This is a lack, in particular where big purchases are concerned, such as an education, a second house or cosmetic surgery. For making a well informed choice in such matters it is worth knowing what the average effect on happiness is, and even better, how such choices have affected the happiness of people like you.

I am organizing a session on this topic on the seminar ‘Advances in Happiness Economics’ at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, October 28-29, 2013.

Your proposal is welcome!!!
