EHPS 2014: Beyond Prevention and Intervention: Increasing Well-being

Dear QoL Colleagues!

Next year’s 28th Conference of the European Health Psychology Society will be hosted from 26-30th August 2014 in Innsbruck, Austria.

The conference theme is “Beyond prevention and intervention: increasing well-being“.

It is our great pleasure to announce the first call for abstracts. The abstract submission is now available at our website

To submit an abstract you will need to register first on the electronic conference system.

Once registered on the conference system, you can upload, modify and submit your abstract, book a hotel room, arrange airport transfers, signup for a workshop and of course register for the conference EHPS 2014 itself.

We warmly invite you to submit your abstracts for oral or poster presentations within one of the 19 tracks of the conference. Information on the tracks can be found here.

We also welcome symposia, round tables or workshops:

– Symposia provide an opportunity for focused presentations of a particular topic,
– Roundtables provide an opportunity to take forward an issue of relevance to health psychology by critiquing current evidence and suggesting future directions for research and applications,
– Workshops provide an opportunity for a group of participants to achieve a specific goal or address a particular problem. Workshops will take place on Tuesday, 26th of August 2014.

General guidelines for abstract submission can be found here.

We kindly ask you to adhere to these guidelines.

We are looking forward to your abstracts and latest research findings you want to share with the world at next year’s 28th Conference of the European Health Psychology Society.

Deadline for abstract submission is 14.02.2014.

Please check our website  regularly for updates about the conference, abstract submission and registration procedure.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you all in Innsbruck, Austria!

Stefan Höfer, Christel Salewski
Congress President, Chair of the Scientific Committee
