Section Editor Sought: Applied Research in Quality of Life

“Pioneers” Section, Applied Research in Quality of Life

A section editor for the “Pioneers in Quality of Life Theory and Research” section of Applied Research in Quality of Life is being sought.

The person should have a deep interest in the history of the social indicators and social reporting movements and be willing to work collaboratively with members of the journal’s Editorial Policy Committee and the Editor-in-Chief.

The tasks required of the position include:

1) in consultation with members of the journal’s Editorial Policy Committee, identify persons who have made pioneering contributions to the field of quality of life theory and research;

2) identify persons who can prepare a 500-700 word summary of the substantive contributions of such persons; and, 3) work with the journal’s Editor-in-Chief in processing the summaries into a form suitable for publication.

The appointment is for a three-year period.
