The 1st Regional ISQOLS Conference- Africa, "Well-being and Happiness in a Democratic World"

3-5 October 2024, Johannesburg, South Africa

Call for Abstracts:

The Well-being for Africa Conference stands as a beacon of hope for addressing the diverse well-being challenges faced by the continent. This gathering, marked by international interactions and collaboration, serves as a platform to catalyse transformative change and promote a happier Africa underpinned by higher levels of well-being and strong democracies.

Therefore, this regional conference will focus on exchanging and transferring knowledge and establishing robust international interactions and collaboration networks. The above-mentioned will help to pass on knowledge (from leading researchers in Africa and globally) to new scholars and emerging leaders.

As such, we welcome multidisciplinary approaches that explore well-being issues using multiple lenses and welcome multinational and intercontinental approaches that seek to strengthen the research in quality of life studies. Hence, we are issuing a call for papers from dedicated participants that reflect these values.

Submission Guidelines:

All papers must be original research.

Individuals interested in presenting their research must submit an abstract of no more than 300 words in English by 5 May 2024, using our Conference Management cite. The Scientific Committee will review all abstracts, and authors will be notified of their decision via email before 19 May 2024.
